Clients who are in the company of our nurse observers during their defense medical examinations feel reassured having a representative with them to protect their rights.
A legal nurse observer is skilled in physical assessment and has the skills, knowledge, and ability to interpret the elements of the exam and the client's clinical and emotional response.
Pre-DME interview with clients
We will contact your client prior to the scheduled appointment to introduce ourselves and prep the client for the exam in and attempt to decrease anxiety.
Representation of the Attorney during the Exam
Our nurse observer will stay with your client from the time they arrive until the appointment is complete.
We act as the eyes and ears of the attorney during the exam to assure fairness and accuracy in reporting.
Audio and written report provided to the representing Attorney
We will audiotape the entire interaction and provide the attorney with a written timed report detailing the reactions of the client as well as the actions of the examining physician.
